Sunday, 20th May 2018, very hotttt!
My Mercure hotel offers breakfast from 6AM to 11AM on Sunday! How cool is that! I could wake up late and still enjoying my brunch! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
The dining area was facing the pool (on the 4th floor) and the pool was facing the Kuta Beach. And yes, Kuta Beach was just across the street! This was a highly recommended hotel, located nearby Poppies Lane (shopping street where you can haggle and shop, and get cheap tattoos) and walking distance to Beachwalk Shopping Centre (a high-end shopping mall in Kuta, with a lot of famous local restaurants including the famous roast duck, Bebek Tepi Sawah). ♡ ～(‘▽^人)
I walked along the beach but didn’t go that far because the locals kept on selling stuffs to me, talking to me in Japs or Korean and I was just too tired to explain them we can speak same language. From the beach which was just across the street, I turned to Poppies Lane-1 where I saw a lot of rattan bags hanging everywhere but I didn’t check the price here in Kuta. I’m happy with what I bought from Ubud, so that’s fine with me. And then getting a tattoo was very tempting in Bali. But I love more soaking in Japanese onsens than draw arts on my body. So again, I skipped these. ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶
From Poppies Lane-1 I turned to Beachwalk to have my lunch. I didn’t go to Bebek Tepi Sawah resto because I read some comments on Google saying it was overrated and too pricey. By 3PM I walked back to Mercure hotel to get my suitcase and ordered a grab for IDR40k to Ngurah Rai International Airport. (⌒ω⌒)
And that’s it for my short Bali trip. (っ˘ω˘ς )
And it is wayyy too short!!! <(￣ ﹌ ￣)>
So now let’s think where should I go for my next trip? Egypt? Russia? New Zealand? Tibet? <(￣︶￣)>
